And now, I'm leaving work and going to my sister's. She bought a tree and wants help to get it out of her car and into her house and into the tree stand. At least, they aren't cutting their own anymore. I did not enjoy that.

After that, I'll be meeting with my friend David and his wife. They're in town from Seattle for her work Christmas party (she still works here in Olympia). I'll meet with them when that's over.

Back from what was a pretty damned good show -- even if one of the men went up on the middle third of one song he's known for over two years, and one of the women completely skipped the middle third of her song she's known for over two years. But the spirit was high and the audience was having more fun than the law allows.

At this point we have no idea how little or how much snow we'll get tomorrow, and whether we'll have a show or have to cancel. Decision time is 4 p.m.

Back from a wonderful and quiet 70th birthday dinner with Nick and Julie at the Enterprise Fish Company, a restaurant I ate at two or three times a week when I lived just across the way at the Shores. Very different menu now and the decor has been completely redone. A wonderful time was had by all and more in the notes.

Just for the record, I'd LOVE some snow! I'd pull out boots and warm socks, my winter coat, scarf, gloves, and go romp in it. I love snow. But I doubt that I'll be seeing any.

I've never heard of this place. I'll have to look into it. I had fish and chips today at John O'Groats. They do a good job of it.
