Thatch at least has both eyes open today, so before I give him his meds, I'll see how they are progressing.  He makes me laugh constantly as he tags along with Annabelle.  He either struts or trots, and since he doesn't have her jumping abilities or grace yet, he often looks as though he's flailing after her.  I can also see that he's patterning himself after her, so in that way she has become his mother.

I wish she'd learn from him about litter box tidiness: he is really intense about burying his waste and I think it may be a product of his feral roof-living days.  He digs deep trenches before he does anything, scoops as much litter possible over it, sniffs it, buries it again, and then decides if he's covered his tracks.  Annabelle drops a really stinky load, buries nothing, and walks nonchalantly away with absolutely no concern that the air on this side of Central Park has been seriously threatened and lives are endangered.

:) 😀

I'm on my second cuppa coffee, and I've got Thatch's meds all ready laid out.  I'm waiting for the Gerbers to warm up a tad before I administer them.  I've got the water heating up to dissolve Annabelle's half of the Famciclovir tablet.  I think I may use a new syringe for her.  These are great!

We have been doing our best to keep our balance and watching 10-15 foot high waves.  So far I am handling it well.

That knock on the door could be the Air Police, DR Elmore!

DR ChasSmith, I wish you were here with your camera skills.  Thatch has navigated his way to the window with Annabelle and they are fascinated by a big white pigeon trying to fit onto the window sill to grab some bird seed.  His wings are flapping like crazy.

After I gave Thatch his meds, he chased after Annabelle and literally jumped onto her back.  Then he fell off.  That took the wind out of his sails.

No word from Jason, so I guess I'm not seeing him today.  I'll call Joshie about lunch.

Back from a couple of errands, and waiting for - supposedly - "less than an inch" of snow to fall from the sky between now and (of course) show time this evening.

That looks exactly like what the vet technician gave to me to use with Neve's ointment.  I was successful again this morning!  And the t-shirt trick really helps! :D
