Today is giant monster day on TCM including a 2 p.m. EST showing of ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN.....which would be great on a double bill with ONE, TWO, THREE.

A little wealth wouldn't hurt none, either.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

So, on to another morning/afternoon of cleanup and rearranging and straightening, and another afternoon/evening of listening and watching ketchup.

The PowerBall is like $800 million dollars - which would be nice.

One of the other things I liked about ONE,TWO,THREE is that Arlene Francis was in it.

We watched her every Sunday night on "What's My Line", and I thought she was the funniest most sophisticated woman in the world.....and she kept being in Broadway plays.  She talked about them....and then they closed.

Last night I had both kitties cuddling up to me as we slept.  I do believe that little Thatch's eyes are finally cleared up.

Our very industrious producer on our reading uses the smiley emoticon quite often, and I'm having trouble telling at times whether he's just saying something with good feeling and good humor, or if he means to suggest that he might be joshing about something.  So sometimes, I find myself having to ask!

The first time I ever went to a live taping of a TV show was the game show PAY CARDS, where I went with my mom, and the special celebrity contestant (to my great delight) was none other than Arlene Francis.  After the show, my Mom and I and others rode in the elevator with her, and I was at that age startled that Arlene Francis had no handlers or secretary with her, but (wearing a rain hat which made her look just like one of us) chatted affably with everyone as if she were just another person on the elevator as opposed to the celeb guest we'd just watched.  I enjoyed seeing her on TV even more after that.

(IIRC, she even just hailed a cab as she left the building and didn't even seem to have a car waiting for her.)

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  Yesterday’s water problems lasted most of the afternoon and made for kind of a weird day.  Everything seems OK today.

I’m seeing my doctor today. I have to get an okay from her that I’m only suffering from allergies and nothing that would force a delay in the surgery.

Futzed and finessed all of yesterday's pages and wrote one additional new page.  Now we do our coaching session for three hours, then I'll eat, then I'll write at least another nine pages, but I know where I'm going so that's good.

What an afternoon. My work calendar didn’t remind me of the doctor’s appointment, so I had to race here.

I was in midstream on a request with a coworker. I guess we’ll finish that tomorrow.
