I return to City Center this morning with the two scores I proofread yesterday afternoon.  Our band reading is a week from tomorrow, so I'll see what work Joshie has for me this weekend.

I just had a laugh.  Thatch hid behind my dresser, and when Annabelle strolled past, he jumped out, stood on his hind legs, waved his front legs at her.  She turned and ran and he chased after her.

All I have left this morning before heading out is to treat Thatch's eye.

Tonight is Movie Night in the friend's home theater.  We're watching the newly restored THE APARTMENT on his 130" (or thereabouts) "scope" screen.

It's perfect timing because I haven't watched it in years.  I had the first Blu-ray and am positive I never took it off the shelf.  This should be a revelation.

VIDEO!!  :)   Of course, that's nearly impossible to get.  You can never be ready with camera in hand for that kind of thing to happen.  I mean, unless you have nothing else in life to do.  I know I've missed dozens of award winning opportunities to capture such moments over the years.

Thursday morning greetings!  As predicted, the rain has begun and 24 hours from now it's supposed to change over to snow/ice.  Richard and I are going to the grocery this afternoon, probably along with everyone else in SW Ohio...

We get to enjoy our respite through Saturday, then it goes back down for Sunday.  I think we're looking at snow "showers" on Tues./Weds.  That, of course, can change over to being a major storm -- whenever THEY decide it should.  We all know that.  Right?  And just because I know THEY'RE in control of the weather, that's no proof I'm paranoid!!!!!

Yes we are under a Winter Storm Watch that is in effect beginning this evening.

Of course we had only a half loaf of bread in the house.  I went to WalMart and bought a half a cart of groceries.....filled up the motor car with petrol.....and took my flash drive to the UPS Store so I could print out what my uncle wanted......312 pages of Glenn Simpson's testimony before the Senate.....

I don't know why he want such a thing, but I had it printed out for him.

I'm up, I'm up.  I was up at nine-thirty and could not get out of bed - needed to sleep the extra two hours, I guess.  So, nine hours of sleep.

I am home from City Center.  Annabelle has discovered the joys of knocking things off counters and tables and hearing them crash or break.  Since I've been home she's working my last nerve: she's knocked off letters, my keys, my vitamin case, coins, a laser toy, and she was aiming for a tupperware tub of baklava when I stopped her.
