Listening to a John Rutter CD with a harpist named Catrin Finch - very soothing music and very pretty, with a beautiful-sounding orchestra, and gorgeously recorded.  On Deutsche Grammophone.

Since I cannot eat six hours before the procedure, I awoke at 3:30, ate a sandwich and took all my meds for this morning.   I was back to bed by 3:45, and I slept poorly after that.  Annabelle stayed with me and Thatch fluttered in and out.  I don't think he wanted to settle; I think he wanted me to feed him.  I think now I should have given them a treat.

My friend Chris will pick me up after the procedure, since I'm required to have an escort.  We will hit a diner and I will have some breakfast.  If I'm feeling well, and I suspect I will, I will head down to City Center.
