DR George, the credit card company is aware, so I would think any charges dated before your cancellation will be cancelled.

DR George, ugh! So sorry you are having to go through this! I am confident that it will all be resolved satisfactorily, as each of mine have been. But it's still very stressful and a pain to go through. I think you are wise to be vigilant for other charges. These sound like clever thieves. Please keep us updated and especially let us know when it's all over.

Fortunately, as far as I can remember, everything that I had ordered or used the credit card for has been received, or at least charged and shipped. I don't have any automatic payments set up with that card, so there shouldn't be any problem in that respect. WHEW!!

The last time my debit card was hacked, I was convinced it was through an Amazon employee.

That's horrible! When I lived in San diego there was a large Vietnamese community and rumor had it that some of them were killing neighborhood cats and serving them in their restaurants. Ugh! I wouldn't even THINK of eating in one of those places. And I'm a vegetarian!

I had my hairs cut today, then went to my favorite food store. I also tried a chocolate-covered donut that looked good but wasn't. I indulged more than usual over the holidays and let's just say that my appetite for sweets didn't vanish on Jan 1, as I'd intended.
