Well, you've read the notes, the notes mused, and now it is time for you to post until the musing cows come home.

I fed the babies at 7:00 and went back to bed.  Around 9:15 I started moving about.  I do not feel ill, just not up to par.  My energy is low.

I may go to a concert on 114th and Broadway this afternoon, depending on how I'm feeling.  At the moment, I would rather go back to bed.

Little Thatch is becoming quite the talker.  He was quiet for so long.  When he first came, we only heard sounds out of him when he was hiding under the bookshelves, crying and hungry, or yowling and hissing when he and Annabelle were fighting.  Now that he's decided that he loves his big sister and that a studio apartment on the Upper West Side beats the hell out of fighting for survival on a Bronx garage roof, he's becoming very chatty.

I’ve discovered that my internet speed has fallen way the hell down at some point recently, so Comcast/Xfinity will be getting a call from me in a little while.  I’m on their “Blast” tier, and speed tests are showing one-third of the minimal speed defined by that.

It's a gloomy day in the nation's capital.  Rain and maybe freezing rain expected.

A favorite of mine. I have a copy of Richard Widwark, Cornel Wilde, Celeste Holm and her in Road House that I haven't watched. I will have to do that when I can find the time.

This afternoon, I think I'm going to the movies. I really want to see Call Me By Your Name on the big screen.

And I don't feel like going to a Super Bowl party.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I begged off a third trip to the church in Dayton in as many days and enjoyed some solitude this morning.  Richard is home now and we're looking forward to a quiet Super Bowl Sunday.  We'll watch the game and have burgers made with the ground venison that he received from a couple at church.  We were advised to mix it with ground sausage.

I think I will meet Joshie at the 2:00 concert.  It's at 114th and Broadway, so it's only a short bus ride.

Just had a nice phone conversation with my brother-in-law Jerry, who turns 80 today.  He's my sister's husband, so I also had a nice, much longer, chat with her.

Solved part of my internet speed problem by resetting the modem before calling them.  (I'm SO glad I did that first.  Always reset first, folks.)

According to several speed tests that got my download speeds up where they belong.  Upload speed is a different matter, and if another reset doesn't help it I'll still have to call.  But that's not quite as critical.
