I wish Vancouver, B.C. had not copied the name of Vancouver, WA, especially since it is the well known Vancouver.

There are a number of towns named Ashland. My Ashland was originally called Ashland Mills. I like the sound of that and wish they hadn't changed the name even though it didn't have a mill anymore.

Tumwater "is the oldest permanent American settlement on Puget Sound." The city bio says, "When the City was founded in 1845, it was named New Market. By 1863 the city was known as “Tumwater”, the Chinook jargon word for a waterfall."

I was told that it was named because of the "tumbling waters" of the Deschutes River, which kind of makes sense.

I did wear them a good while after they went out of fashion. I don't think they would look as good on me as they did back then

Since I mostly sat at the computer or cleaned, without walking much, I just did a very fast 3,000 step march around here. I needed to move and get my heart beat up. While still pathetic for me I have now done the recommended 10,000 steps for the day.

Well, I was FINALLY able to create a new login and password for my credit card and log into my online account. Halle-frekin'-looya!! I also found that all the fraudulent cash advances and fees have been reversed, so I won't have to pay those! AND I was able to make a payment on the legitimate stuff that I still do owe.

I called the credit card company and had got some very helpful help from a woman and as of right now, things look good...not perfect, however. The balance that currently shows in the online account is about one third of what it should be! $:-\$ I should owe a lot more than what shows!

I was able to download my January statement before all the fraud sh*t happened, and that shows the correct amount that I owe and the correct minimum payment due. I paid about twice that, just to make sure.

Also, the helpful woman did confirm that even though a payment was due by February 9, because the fraud sh*t was happening, I won't get any late charges for making the legitimate payment now. Whew!!
