I, too, am a vegetarian, except when I eat meat.

Speaking of eating meat, perhaps I'll go have a light breakfast.  Of course, I could avoid the bacon and just have eggs and sausage - oh, wait - I could have eggs and eggs and toast.  I could.  I really could.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  It's another rainy day here in SW Ohio, but Richard and I have a date tonight.  We're going to dinner at Gracie's and then to see Middletown Lyric Theatre's "My Name is Asher Lev."

I was thinking of Jerry's of course, but I forget I've got Corky's, which is closer.

It makes thin ribbons out of zucchini.

https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Handheld-Spiralizer-Green/dp/B013KAW5IQ/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1519491596&sr=1-7&keywords=zoodle

It is supposed to trick your kids into thinking they are eating spaghetti instead of squash. As if.

;D

Not a zucchini fan here.  I am not sure that would work for me.

I use my food processor for making hummus a lot. Also pie dough and other doughy things that I can mix up in there. I used it for the cake pops.

I don't make hummus anymore, or pie dough, or a lot of things.

I made several posts out of that story.

And a nice story it was.  I like that she is a vegetarian :)

I remember when you met the young  Vixter ( was it 10, 12 years ago?!) and tried to talk to her about bring a vegetarian.  You asked her if she liked animals and in all seriousness she answered, "yes, I like the way they taste"

;D

Was that before or after we walked through the Chinese (?) market with the dead animals?

My husband always wants to stop at Sizzler whenever we happen to find one on our travels. He never remembers how bad the steak is.

I am guessing you remind him and you don't stop.

The book is a favorite of Richard's.  I read it a long time ago, but he recently re-read it.  I had him give me a plot summary this morning.  I'm a little skeptical about its treatment by our local thespians, but we'll see.

Film at 11.

I have just indulged in the purchase of a first row balcony seat for the March 24th matinee of Grand Hotel at City Center.  Orchestra and Grand Tier are both completely sold out.  Are any othe DRs planning to attend this performance?

I'll be around. Can we step out for a nosh after?   The orchestra reading is this Tuesday and I have yo miss the morning session because of another epidural.

I would love that.  I can make reservations for us at Lily's if you'd like.

Chas, will you be around?

YES!  Saturday matinee.  Kristi & Nathan will be with me.  They aren't available to ask right now, but I think a get-together around some food would be a fine thing.

I[m perfectly happy to step down to the coffee shop on Sixth Avenue where we went after THE NEW YORKERS, but I'll let you decide.

Ended up at Corky's - good hash browns, which Jerry doesn't do correctly, but other than that, Jerry's wins.
