Well, you've read the notes, the notes were grand, and now it is time for you to post until the grand cows come home.

Well, I'm off to bed.  Last night, it took me longer than usual to fall asleep, so I want a chance to get more sleep tonight.

Good night and have a good day, all!

I will leave soon for my epidural.  It's a schlep to the East Side.  The cats are fed, the birds are fed, and I need to make the bed and empty the litter before I go.

After my friend Chris picks me up, I will take him to breakfast.  Then I will head to the orchestra reading for Grand Hotel on the other side of town.  I told Joshie I hoped to be there by 12:30 or so.

I'm very tired.  I got up at 3:00, had a snack and took my morning meds since IU cannot eat six hours before the procedure.  When I got back to bed, Annabelle ad Thatch joined me.  Annabelle slept on my feet and Thatch curled up at my side where he licked my fingers and gave me love bites before he settled down.

Getting up for a snack isn't something I would want to do.  Is it a must do for you to keep your sugar levels in balance?

Tuesday morning greetings!  Richard and I had a nice outing yesterday and I went to a very civilized AAUW board meeting in the evening.  I spent the time at home in between at my craft desks making some beautiful cards.

Regarding FB, it's time for A Major Announcement.  (That's kind of like A Major Award, but possibly even more exciting.)

There have been too many instances in the past several months of my not knowing something going on with friends or events which concern me, all due to my historical refusal to participate in the world of social media other than having a FB account for linking with half a dozen friends from high school and following a few groups.  I still have a mighty disdain for the culture because of the monster it is and the way so many people use it.  But after much thought, I'm dipping my toes back in the water to give it a more serious try.

All of which means I'm about to do something shocking, shocking.  I'm going to "friend" a few people from each of the areas of my life and see how it goes, and I shall begin right here by giving BK and a few of you the first honors.  Please be gentle.

DR CHAS SMITH - I have found that FACEBOOK is an invaluable tool when working on a show.  When I direct a show, I always create a Closed Group for the cast & Staff.....you have immediate contact with them....and I usually post my rehearsal notes there instead of keeping them later in the night.

As a social tool, it can be very annoying....but you can make it work for you.
