thanks for the suggestions DR TCB. FORTUNATELY, my brother came by and helped me with the 32" flatscreen that was still in my father's room.

He messed around with the connections I had made to the dvd player, and now it works! So I can take that one! I mentioned it to the head of the committee, and she thinks it's a good idea.

I still haven't told her that I'm not using her quote for the In Memoriam slide show. I'll do that sooner or later.

Here's a page with a recap of Jonah's Platt's game.....it was a close loss, but he didn't shake anyone's hand or look at anybody else during the last few moments of the broadcast....he 's unhappy that people have taken him to task on the inner web for his behavior....

Jonah Platt is a bit full of himself, at least that's the impression I get. He did one of the Sterling's talent things and got nowhere because - he wasn't that good. But he gets work because, well, not hard to figure out - he even directed some LA theater thing recently - small show. His brother, on the other hand, really has talent and we all knew it back then.
