Elmore, there’s a new children’s horror book coming out called The Merry Spinster by Mallory Ortberg. Twisted takes on classic tales, including King Lear. Might be fun.

We are back in business! I just toted six weeks worth of paper trash to the recyclable bins in the basement. I was going to take Annabelle with me but as soon as we got onto the elevator, she went to pieces, climbed all over me and jumped from my shoulder through the open door to the third floor as the doors were closing.
