So, I've got two skittish babies this morning.  I think they need to find jobs.

Are there no prisons?  Are there no workhouses?

I fell asleep quickly after posting last night but then woke up too early.   I must have felt good after watching E.T.   It has been years since we've seen it.

Exactly!  I need something to threaten them with to keep them in line.  I did take her out to patrol the halls while I dumped the garbage.  That perked her up.  She was chirping and trilling by the time I carried her home.  Thatch found one of his soccer balls, so he's keeping himself amused.

The library delivered the e-audio of Call Me By Your Name yesterday. I’ve only started listening and it’s odd. Armie Hammer does the reading. This time, he’s the young man, not the American. It’s a good reading (based on 20 minutes or so), but the role reversal will take some time.

DR GEORGE I keep seeing prices and thinking about getting a larger television, but mine is working fine and it seems like such an extravagance.

Hey, wouldn't it be fun if we could switch our posting totals with our odometer readings?

A tour, but I think it’s non-Equity.

TCB - it's just that I enjoy rude waiter stories.  They're mch more fun to talk about later than to live through, of course.

One of the characters in the musical VIVA MAX! who pushes the plot forward now has the character name RUDE WAITER.  The actor who played the waiter liked it much more than when the script had previously just called him WAITER

I have managed to land a spot ushering Sunday for A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. I had been on standby. So it’ll be a busy weekend. Saturday I’m ushering for Dvorak’s New World Symphony.

I would love to see A Gentleman’'s Guide to Love and Murder!  I love that recording!

Today they are showing the funeral procession of the policeman who was killed in the line of duty last Friday.....

The killer was on camera heading into his first court hearing on Wednesday.....a reporter asked him why he shot, and he said: "I didn't want to be bit by that dog!"  The policeman had his canine Brik with him.  The reporter then asked if he had any remorse, and the guy said:  "No.  No remorse at all. None."

DR GEORGE I keep seeing prices and thinking about getting a larger television, but mine is working fine and it seems like such an extravagance.

My 27" TV works well, also, but it's kind of weird.  The image from the tube is zoomed in a bit, so it's larger than the area that actually shows (if that makes sense).  The edges of the TV box matt the edges of the image, so I never get to see the true whole image that's shown, so now I'll finally be able to have a complete image from my bedroom TV. :)
