But yeah, lack of delis, that would account for a huge percentage of it.  But still... coffee shops?  diners?  food marts at the large gas stations and truck stops on the highways?  Oy!

I'm told you can't get "real" pizza around Orlando, either.  Given people's preferences for various styles of pizza, I've always taken that with a grain of salt.  But you never know.

Even when I can find bagels I can't get egg bagels.  They think I am asking for a plain bagel with a cooked egg.

You can find some delis if you go up to Seattle, but Tacoma is like a vast wasteland.

I've taken a break from How To Succeed . . . to do some Google Map research.

That sandwich was so good...How can it be the rest of the country hasn't caught on to this extrodinary breakfast experience?

Do you mean breakfast sandwiches in general, or something specific?  I thought they were pretty much universal..although it does seem we are exceptionally blessed with them in our cozy li'l tri-state region.

Triple Moon Coffee here in Middletown serves a breakfast sandwich, but they put potato chips on the side.  Now I like potato chips, but not for breakfast.  I suggested they substitute grapes.

Also, we have nearby a Northstar Cafe that's part of an Ohio chain.  They do a nice breakfast sandwich on a delicious biscuit.

I'm listening to Lost In Boston 1 and Colette Collage this morning.  I hadn't played them in years, and I'd forgotten how good they are.

Found both of those and most of the Schmidt and Jones stuff. But I can't find Celebration.

Starting to watch Blade Runner 2049, but I will have to stop it before going to the concert tonight. I'm sort of enjoying it.

TOD:

I always thought the movie version of The Wiz was better than most people did. The same with New York, New York. I know both are flawed, but they entertain me and fascinate me all the same.

"Masterpiece Theatre" will broadcast a new 3-episode adaptation of Little Women with Angela Lansbury as Aunt March and Michael Gambon as Mr Lawrence on May 13.

Isn't it funny DR ELMORE that some movies we once liked don't seem so good on re-viewing......but a good CD or LP is just as entertaining as it always was?  -Sometimes MORESO.

I am making chicken patties and steak fries for supper.....or rather the Frigidaire Range Oven is doing so, but I did take them out of the Frigidaire Freezer and put aluminum foil on the cookie sheets and then put them IN the oven myself.  Presumably I will remember to take them out.  I set the timer and brought it in here next to my computer.

Last night I watched a basketball game between Duke and North Carolina.....then today I watched a basketball game between Harvard and Cornell......sort of from the sublime to the ridiculous....

If you go to Classmate.com and sign up - just get the FREE version, you don't have to pay - you can browse High School Yearbooks.  Not ALL of them are there, but I did find three out of four years of my school.....

It is interesting to see....and it was much easier for me than scanning ALL those photos to make the slide show.  Saving the pages is a pain.....but still easier than scanning....

Sounds fun, if a bit British for so American a tale.

Last night at the theater was The Lion in Winter.

Tonight at the theater is Proof, and I must get ready to go and meet some folks for it.

How WAS The Lion in Winter DR JOHN G?

Ahem!    :)

It was good.  Great leads, somewhat less great in the supporting cast.  I look forward to receiving the new Blu-ray release this week.  Been way too many years since I've indulged in this one.
