The concert last night was fine. I loved the Symphonic songs from On the Town and a cello concerto called Schlomo.

Not Symphonic Dances from West Side Story?

Isn’t there a ballet excerpts symphonic piece from On the Town?

Nope. Maybe next fall. They’re doing a lot of Bernstein but not the overly produced ones.

So what are Symphonic Songs from On The Town?

The concert last night was fine. I loved the Symphonic songs from On the Town and a cello concerto called Schlomo.

The New World was enjoyable except I had a patron who would not shut up during the piece. His neighbors told him to, I told him to, but he was so excited that he just couldn’t stop whispering to his girlfriend about the piece. And the acoustics in the hall are so good that you can hear every cough, Murder or candy wrapper throughout the whole balcony where I was working. And there was no manager to get him to stop or eject him.

I find that if a murder is happening at least four rows away, it’s not so bad, but I do rather resent the ensuing commotion.

I've heard actors saying "we killed tonight" but never audience members killing each other.

Of course, one should never go to a show (or anywhere) as Jessica Fletcher's plus-one.  No good can come of that.

Oh, never mind.  I see that this has already been responded to this morning.

I haven't yet been at a show where a murder took place in the audience, but that's only because my seat mates restrained me

DR TCB, have a good time at the play to today.  The Glass Menagerie is one of my favorite Williams plays, but I think Amanda, like Sally in Follies, is not an easy part to cast.  I hope the cast you're seeing breaks your heart.

Thank you, Larry, it has gotten good reviews.

I am proud of myself, I got up on time 6:30 am(Formerly known as 5:30 am) emptied the dishwasher , folded the clothes in the dryer, dried the church linens, took a shower, dressed, ironed the church linens, stopped at 7/11 and bought a gallon of milk and arrived at church by 8 am

We have been without a working dishwasher for 4 months now.  If I had the energy I would go buy one today, maybe next week.
