Yes, very nice millstone, and I'm sorry I'm terrible about keeping an eye on those.  I only catch them when someone else points them out.

I thought for sure that winter was over. It has been so mild. But what is up with this ridiculous weather. Another snowstorm today! :(

Tuesday morning greetings!

I wish my pharmacy had told me yesterday when I phone in the refills that one needed to be ordered and would arrive tomorrow.
So, I must make a second trip tomorrow.

Dammit.

I just got off the phone with my pharmacy about a similar issue.

Because I could not get to the basement for the seven weeks it was out of service, the litter box has needed a good washing out.  I just finished it scrubbing it down; I'd been postponing since Sunday.  Annabelle and Thatch will not know how to behave.

Then I had to vacuum.  Last night I broke the light bulb for my night stand, and I wanted to be sure all the glass was swept up before one of the kitties or I ended up with a sliver 9n a paw/foot.

Speaking of the Mudlark, he sings "I Hear Bells," one of my favorite songs, in the Maltby-Shire musical Love Match.

I love that song!  Years ago, I sang this in an on-going vocal workshop that I was taking and we performed around town every once in a while.  The published songbook of Starting Here, Starting Now only had the solo line, so I transcribed the "bongs" so that a couple of friends of mine also in the workshop could sing those.  We all had a lot of fun with it! :D

Elaine Joyce had come up elsewhere on the net, and this brief almost-romance came to mind.

About a date Elaine Joyce had with J.D. Salinger, that they'd had a long-distance romance before that first (and maybe only??) in-person date. (when she was single, of course)

Tonight's rehearsal is cancelled!

We're actually in the clear from the storm now, but it's a school and they're concerned about the wet roads freezing up later tonight.

Hey, works for me.

I've also been led to believe that THE LION IN WNTER (the real one) is in my mailbox.  If so, that shall be tonight's pleasure.

You mean Mrs. Neil Simon. I love her on the OBC of Sugar, even if she’s a Wookworth’s version of Marilyn Monroe.

I liked the new version of MY COUSIN RACHEL, because I like the story.....however NOBODY can brood like Richard Burton, so I have to say the 1952 movie version is my favorite......but neither version captures the BOOK!

Interesting story. Knowing Salinger’s penchant for privacy, I found the couple’s behavior as bad as Salinger’s.

On the phone with the publishers since I've been up.  The book got "stuck" somewhere in their system and I've lost an entire week - I should have had the test books today at the latest, and it hasn't even gone to the printers.  Had I not finally written all my folks there heaven knows how long it would have been "stuck."  But I have everyone on this now, it should go to the printers tomorrow and then they will overnight me the test copies, and they will also give me free expedited shipping once I place my order.
