Yes, 16oz is the large carton.

The “or more” sugar is to taste, depending how sweet you like it.

Thanks.  Just wanted to be sure! ;D

Hi folks,

It's only a little after five but it's been a long, long day!

Allow me to introduce you to Bonnie--Bonnie Blue.  My new 04 Ford Explorer!  I am beside myself with excitement!

Congratulations!!  The car that I currently have (and have had for about six and a half years) was the very first new car that I bought.  Yours is practically new (and certainly newer than either of my two previous cars).  Take care of it and it should last a long time.  I'm fairly close to 90,000 miles.  When I get my income tax refund (hopefully, in a week or so), I'm getting the all of the "big" servicing done.  I've had all of the recommended servicing done, and I've had it done at the dealer.  It probably costs more, but there was one problem a few years ago.  I forget what it was that was going bad, but whatever it was, was much earlier than when it was supposed to be.  Anyway, because I had had all of the servicing done at the dealer, THEY paid for most of it!  It would have cost me $575, but I only had to pay about $100!  That's customer service.

Watching "Trading Space" right now.. Actually, it's "Trading Castles" tonight.  Very neat.  -I'm also flipping between this and SNL - I actually though the Senate Confirmation Hearing skit was sort of funny.  In any case...

It's interesting hearing how Faber's Scottish accent has been more pronounced this episode since they're in Scotland for this episode.  And he's wearing a kilt too!

It's very cold outside, and very warm inside.  Sometimes it is very warm outside and very cold inside.  Sometimes it is neither.

Just finished watching "What A Way to Go" on DVD.

Charming and entertaining, mostly.

What a CAST!

Also watched this afternoon "The Forgotten."

Very entertaining with a couple of stunning cinematic shocks.

Back from a delicious dinner at my landlord's restaurant -- which turned out to be quite the place. Long line waiting to get in, interesting crowd, beautiful decor. The food was deevine. And he treated us to drinks, dessert and espresso.
More details later. Right now I'm going to spend some quality time with DD who is leaving tomorrow.

I buy the beautiful decor and deevine food.  When I hear "interesting crowd" and "quality time" I run for the hills.  Why do we always need such qualifiers?  Just spend time.  And now, I shall run for the hills.

dear dad has left...I must now fend for myself

Yeah, that's what you think.

Fear not, fellow Dear Readers, our DR Ann will not have to fend for herself just yet.  My next posts shall be on location from her very own apartment!

Comes in handy to have an unemployed friend, huh? :D

Well... There is such a thing as an "uninteresting" and "boring" crowd...

And "quality" time is better than "wasted" time...

Have fun in the hills!

I think the hour is unseemly for older people to be seen on the streets though.

I don't like qualifiers.  And what IS an "interesting crowd" restaurant-wise?  There are diners, eating.  I don't see what makes them boring or interesting, since the person saying that they're interesting isn't sitting with them or talking to them.  But I buy the nice decor and the good food - that is the only thing that would get me to the restaurant.  The crowd I could care less about.

And if one is spending time with someone they care about and love then it is automatically time well spent - no qualifiers needed.  Just as spending time with a bore is time wasted - no qualifiers needed.  This is just my peculiar world-view, I suppose, but it suits me just fine.  Others can qualify all they like.  There was an interesting crowd at McDonald's earlier today and I spent some quality time ordering a Filet o' Fish.

Well... I still do have my Security Clearance from my days working for the government... And my father works for the Secretary of Health and Human Services... And my brother, Jay, still has his Secret Service connections...

Is that a knock I hear at your door, BK?

TCB has been trying to get on the Board but keeps getting "Kicked off". After 45 minutes he has decided it is a sign that he should go to bed. Let's hope he shall be here tomorrow.

Well, it's not the SITE that's kicking him off - it's his browser.

I'm finished with the DVD and now I shall spend some quality time writing tomorrow's notes.  I'll be back in a jiff.

I'm not going to get into another one of the famous (infamous?) Panni/bk late-night debates - but let me just say that anyone who has known me for more than 10 minutes would know that a phrase like "spend quality time" would never cross my lips without tongue firmly in cheek. End of non-debate. ;D

Well, even though the new notes are minutes away, I'm afraid I must succumb to the call of the Wussburger Sirens...

At least I don't have a matinee tomorrow!

I hope the snowfall amounts are "reasonable" for those DRs who will have to deal with it in the morning.

Goodnight.
