Sweet photos.  Did you ask if either of them have heart murmurs?

No recollection of feeling drowsy, just suddenly it's morning.

I hope you sleep as well with the new meds.

That WAS the new meds

Great.  I did not realize you had finished the old ones already.

I didn't, I just stopped the original meds which made me feel too foggy during the day and started the new ones last night

Ignored your doctor's advice then ;)

Not intentionally but I missed my morning dose because I forgot to take it to work with me

I got to Marsha's party late, but a lot of people (and food!) were still there.  I'm home for now and I'll rest until I go to my sister's.

Last night I noticed that our old one - that is eight years old - began popping and arcing last night.  I went to WalMart about 7 a.m...

did you beat the crowds?   ;)

Why o why o why o would Elmore move back to Ohio

Because I cannot live on what my income and social security make without additional income since they only cover my rent, utilities, cell phone and Medicare.  I need to make so much extra per month to cover my other bills, food, and living expenses.

Leaving Manhattan may be the most economically feasible thing to do unless:
1. work picks up
2. we sell that Ohio property so I have a financial cushion
3.  I win the lottery

Jane, I finished MAJOR CRIMES a few weeks ago. I had mixed feelings about the series at the start, but actually I felt it held up quite well. I give a lot of credit to the writers. Was it time to conclude it? Yes. But the regulars in the cast had an amazing run. First, THE CLOSER, then MAJOR CRIMES. That enabled many to buy homes and send their kids to college, I suspect. And the young actor who played Rusty has certainly established himself.

There's a new show on Acorn TV about Bletchley Park. I'm a sucker for stories about Bletchley. I may watch some tonight.

My friend Kearran Giovanni plays Sykes.  She was in the 2009 Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow.  I'm very happy for her.

Around twelve forty I sat on the couch just to close my eyes for a bit.  Next thing I knew it was three-fifteen.  Guess I needed to rest.

Yes DR JEANNE, I did.....the employees outnumbered the customers....and I was first in line at the checkout.  I also got a water hose and a sprayer nozzle.....all less that $90.

She was lucky to be cast in a hit show.  Has she enjoyed working with the cast?

Nope, I was not usedtobringing it yet as it wasn't part of my routine, I need to take my thyroid med on an empty stomach, but the heart med must  be taken with food,  so I had to take it with me and then eat something  once I got to work(also not part of my routine I usually don't eat breakfast except for Saturdays and sometimes Sundays )

But I also did need to skip the morning one before I took the new one anyway because the new dose is twice the amount of the previous one and I would have had too much in my system , so it all worked out, I just changed up a day earlier than I would have

Carrie came for the cage and we had a lovely visit.  She told me that Thatch's sister Ruffina finally was adopted.  Here are his sisters, Ruffoma and Gable.

OMG, those beautiful kitties -- Gable a lovely Calico, and Ruffina looks like her brother!

Tomorrow morning I'm treating myself to a browse through the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market, then to some enjoyable down time in the afternoon, and finally, to a friend's choral/orchestral concert in the evening.
