Speaking of retirement (well, it came up yesterday), I'm thinking of retiring this year.  It's a big decision and I don't want to regret it later.

DR Kevin, do you have any post-retirement plans, whenever that may be, such as relocation?

Not anytime soon.

Our meeting was okay - I let my choices be known.....and then I auditioned for The Mousetrap....which went okay - but then again who knows?

There were some interesting folks there - I knew 4 of the 6....one girl was very irritating and kept interrupting the director to help him explain to us what he meant.....

I am sure the director wants to cast the irritating girl so he can continue this relationship.

The second annual YouTube tribute.  (Last year, we did our tribute to Bette Midler in Hello Dolly and she won, so make of that what it's worth.  :) )

Ripped from the pages of HHW -
"SHOW ME" parody - "TONY NOW!" - LET'S RIGG THE VOTE!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sFgqusGSOs

(in tribute to the legendary Diana Rigg as Mrs. Higgins in "My Fair Lady" - parody to tune of "Show Me" - vocal: Jan Horvath)

I actually found MAJOR CRIMES too suspenseful to watch alone.  Even during the big wedding, based on the prior seasons, I was sure SOME horrible crime was going to happen during the ceremony.

DR JEANNE I have not heard of the occult blood test.

I was too advanced.....which they discovered through other blood tests and my VERY LOW hemoglobin count - and it was pretty obvious.

I would think that your doctor would know what is best for you....if you need something more - I'm sure they will do so.

In fact I have

Thanks for the information. We all want diagnostics that catch these things early on. My doctor told me that they can really tell a lot from the occult blood test--not only IF there is a problem, but WHERE in the lengthy colon. I'm happy to do them, but I'd not heard of them until a couple years ago. Don't know if their use is widespread or not.

And any sort of "occult" test would seem to be right up your alley.   ;)

It's a lovely cover.

Are you looking for an inside pocket? I wonder if one could be attached somehow.
