Never been up there myself, but always wanted to go.

My thoughts, too.

I could have gotten 10 or 12 posts out of that

You just needed to get that rant out all at once.  Where was this "exciting" brunch?

I am home from "Me and My Girl," which was really wonderful silly, slapstick-y, mindless, and so much fun.  Christian Borle was really wonderful, but the cast was full of delightful, eccentric performers: Chuck Cooper, Simon Jones, Harriet Harris, Don Stephenson . . .

The band sounded wonderful, and Warren Carlyle's direction was as smart and fluid as his choreography was bright and creative.  I loved the whole company playing with spoons in "The Lambeth Walk."

I am glad you were able to see this and disappointed I couldn't get myself there

We had a lovely 6-hour drive up the Lake Huron coast, stopping at 2 lighthouses and a scenic vista of the Mighty Mac.  Tomorrow we’re driving across for my first ever visit to the Upper Peninsula.

Lovely.  The only time we went farther than Mackinaw Island the weather did not cooperate.  Do you plan to see Pictured Rocks?

DR Jeanne, delivery was a good choice today.  I am sorry you missed the Carving Board before they closed.  Years and years ago Keith said he was done with going to restaurants on Mother's Day and I didn't argue.  There have been exceptions to the rule and they were nice experiences but overall the restaurants are not up to par.

On the other hand, should I leave my phone somewhere it's nice to know I could find it

Keith leaves reviews on Tripadvisor.

Jane, thank you for the wifi mesh info last night.

You are welcome.  I had to double check with Keith I heard "mesh" correctly.

The new modem made a big difference.  The comcast modem must have been the reason our wifi kept cutting in and out.

Today Craig called for a google video chat.  In the past we had problems and the picture wasn't clear.  It was perfect today.

Bryan text he didn't wake up in time for call before going to work, which I expected.  We will have to test the video connection with him tomorrow.

Aside from the bad review I don't think there was a single dish mentioned I would want to eat.  Maybe the cheesecake.  It must not have been very good if no one demanded the rest of their slices ;)

On the whole, with some poor ones, the reviews are pretty good.  It looks like it should have been a nice place for a Mother's Day brunch.

Keith made blueberry buttermilk pancakes for breakfast this morning.  After Craig called we walked into town to the growers market, 7.5 miles round trip.  Of course the fresh flower stands were doing a great business.

I just went down to the little marina here and was shocked how high the river was, plus the small waves were flowing over the pathway.  I wish I could put a video here.

Not this time, DR Jane.  We might drive up to Sault Ste. Marie, but we don’t want to get too far from I-75.

We went into town for ice cream and then back out to the scenic overlook to watch the lights come on on the bridge.
