Do you have wireless set up in your house?

Nope! I shall assume it's a miracle.

DR Jed (or DR Ann), can you guys let me know if Ann received the What If dvd.

Not as of today's mail.  Personally, I'm hoping it'll show up tomorrow so I can watch it while I'm still here!

I called it THE TEMPTRESS...but it was indeed THE TORRENT.

Yes I liked that title...and also the one something like....men working....men living...men among men....and one woman.

Garbo had GREAT BIG feet - whew....but she was very touching at the end of the movie.  I enjoyed it.  And I thought the score was the best one of the contest winners I have heard.

Jack,  I can't say I love "House Hunters," but it's on at times when I am more likely to be watching television than many other shows.   Unfortunately, they use that stupid doorbell everytime they come back from a commercial and during the credits.  Naturally, Sugar has to bark everytime they do the doorbell.  (Dan, I have to be VERY butch with her and tell her it's only the TV)  We had a cocker spaniel who used to bark at the bells on one of the game shows.  Just one show's bell, even though many of them had them.  Go figure....

Yes, "Take Me out" would be great -- during "dress" rehearsals!

I think I'd go with "Follies" or "Chorus Line" though.

Movie set?  "The Women"  might have ben fun.  I'd definitely go with "All About Eve" too.  Unfortunately, some of the best movies didn't always have the happiest sets.

It was cooler today (only about 70 or so) but still nice.

Beautiful day here but didn't get out of the 40s. Supposed to creep up into the 50s tomorrow, but they're already calling for more wintry weather (possible more icy conditions) by the weekend.

Sad news in the Australian Entertainment Industry today ...

JUNE BRONHILL ... opera singer, theatrical performer ("Sound of Music", etc.) passed away.

For those of you who are not familiar with this great lady, she had warmth, soul, heart and a beautiful voice.

I am very sad to report that my buddy, actor Cal Bolder passed away. I just talked with his daughter on the phone earlier tonight and she said that he passed away peacefully with most of his family around him.

He was really a sweet, wonderful, regular guy who was quite thrilled to have his first book published recently, and also to find out that he actually had fans from his days of acting back in the 1960s.

I will very much miss him.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, 1 son and 3 daughters.

A very nice tribute to Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  The guest list for tonight included Ed McMahon, Bob Newhart, Don Rickles, Drew Carey and kd Lang.  Very nice show.  Lots of fun clips.

And then I flipped over to CBS, and caught Craig Ferguson saying some very nice things on The Late Late Show.

Thanks Panni, Jose and RLP...I had a feeling it was coming as he seemed to be getting worse and worse, despite the chemo...what is ironic is that he was always such a healthy guy...worked out, ate healthy, never drank, never smoked, never did drugs...the type of cancer he had was the type that people exposed to asbestos get...he could not figure out how he would get something like that.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno has has just started.  They're showing clips of Johnny Carson.  Every clip is so funny, nothing like you see today.  Even though he was on network television and couldn't use "language," it was obvious that he never would...and he never needed to.  He was just funny.

I just watched the LONG take he did after Madeline Kahn said she had a phobia about balls coming at her. It was hilarious.

I'm back, and to prove it, I'm here.  Notes will be up on time, in just a few minutes.  That said, everyone was apparently off watching their television screens this evening.  I say let's have a late-night denizen partay, that's what I say.
