Say, did anyone (Laura, especially) see today's Bing Picture of the Day?  Here it is (in a smallerized version for posting purposes):

The trees are off the house. An amazing feat. It took four and a half hours. Not sure what else to say at present.

This morning has been a draining experience, and I am ... drained.

Relieved, though. Absolutely. One giant step...

More later!

And the cable, too!  This is really wonderful news.

Yep. All working. TV and internet. First time I’ve had the TV on in over a week. Feels strange.

The last holdout is the landline phone.

Well, you've still got the cell, thank God.

We had a nice lunch in the Refectory and then Richard and I sat outside for a while and visited with passers by.  I’m now camped out in the library’s reference room while he attends a meeting.

Back from picking up no packages and a sandwich and side Caesar salad.  The sandwich was the first bread I've had in a week.  So, now I'll do another week sans bread.

I picked up no packages, and have been here writing commentary ever since.  I'm halfway through and have found some really wonderful factoids.

Also, the cable is back. I presume the TV is, too. I’ll check it later.

This is going to be an evening of relief and relaxation. There are many more stages of hell — both holy and otherwise — ahead of us, and some of it will be fresh. For now, we breathe.

Enjoy your evening of breathing.

Good vibes for the stages of hell ahead of you.

Thinking about the jog - to do or not to do.  It's a bit chilly out.  I have to decide in the next twenty minutes.

Here is an interesting article from Consumer Report regarding carry on luggage.
https://www.consumerreports.org/luggage/When-carry-on-luggage-isnt-carry-on-size/

You cannot trust the size listed on these bags.

This morning I walked the neighbor's dog for her since she hurt her knee.  Then I did an extra long walk with my walking partner.  Two more walks with Keith and I have now walked 13 miles.  :o
