Well, you've read the notes, the notes were written after midnight and were an oasis, and now it is time for you to post until the midnight cows come home.

I slept quite well last night.  I remember bits of a couple of dreams:  I was with a large group at a Chinese restaurant and in another I was at the Times Square No 1 subway station and people were calling Merry Christmas!

I spent all day yesterday cooking and running to market, so today is a work day on How To Succeed . . .  Annabelle and I will take our patrol very shortly and I will get to work.

Wednesday morning greetings!  I get to have a slow morning while Richard attends the early alumni events at Nashotah House.  He’ll pick me up in time for lunch and we’ll be on campus until after dinner.

I got a LOT of the photos I need....hopefully I will get the rest of them today.

I got to spend about thirty minutes with my other director - THE MOUSETRAP...last night.

I won't get to go to Monkswell Manor tonight because we are doing Act Two....and I'm all over that act in my wheelchair....I hope I don't get pushed offstage.

ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHH.....every time I see "Hard Knock Life" with all the backflips and cartwheels, and side aerials AND high fives....I die a little.....and of course NO BUCKETS AND SCRUB BRUSHES....and why are the orphans sleeping in their shoes.....and now there are acrobatics in NEVER FULLY DRESSED WITHOUT A SMILE, too....but that's okay....I guess if you're going to have 19 orphans, you might as well represent.....

And I guess I shouldn't complain since Annie and I are doing 8 measures of tap during the TWO Star to Bes' and ensemble's last sung "C"..........as in N Y CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC.

Well, the lyrics are doing gymnastics (no one cares for you a smidge, when you're in an orphanage), so why not the "orphans" themselves"

To paraphrase THE SUNSHINE BOYS:  "smidge" rhymes with "orphanage" - No wonder their parents left them.

Sunshine Boys Reference is (approx), reading a pop songwriter's obit:  "Lady, be my Baby!  Lady rhymes with Baby!  No wonder he's dead!")

LOL....DR FJL....that's one of my favorite lines from THE SUNSHINE BOYS....I loved doing that show....even though Willie Clark never knew his lines.....

Lady, Lady....be my baby......

They always argue about the names in the Variety obits....he was the manager of the Belasco Theatre.....no he was the manager of the Morosco Theatre.....LOL

Of course OLD PEOPLE aren't quite as funny to me as they used to be. HA!

The trees are off the house. An amazing feat. It took four and a half hours. Not sure what else to say at present.

This morning has been a draining experience, and I am ... drained.

Relieved, though. Absolutely. One giant step...

More later!

Also, the cable is back. I presume the TV is, too. I’ll check it later.

This is going to be an evening of relief and relaxation. There are many more stages of hell — both holy and otherwise — ahead of us, and some of it will be fresh. For now, we breathe.

Well, if the cable is back, all is right with the world!
