Here's the song Debby and I were "dancing" to:

And no discussion of Disco would be complete with the Bee Gees and this guy:

It was much less embarrassing to dance the Disco in the 70's and 80's when I was 45 pounds lighter and had a partner who knew left from right and up from down.....

Page's memorial service was quite wonderful.  I saw friends I had not seen in years, and there were some lovely memories of Page.  Michael Korie, who wrote the lyrics for Grey Gardens and War Paint, was probably Page's oldest friend in the City, and he mentioned our "Just Good Friends" rehearsals in his living room around 1981.

I was floored at the number of people who asked about Annabelle and Thatch.

This is fun!

(Is it the same video as on the other linked page?  or a different point of view on the same number?)

Phlegm still breaking up and the weather is cold today (this is definitely part of the problem, allergy-wise - going from 95 to 65), but voice might just feel a bit stronger today, can't quite tell yet.

Was just reading some of the most amusing reviews of the new movie Gotti, which has a rather astonishing 0% favorable rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  But you know what to expect when a movie takes eight years to get made, with three directors dropping out, lots of lies about who was joining John Travolta in the cast, and a final budget of ten million bucks, which basically means everyone did it for almost nothing.  And you know what to expect when there are - now wait for this one - forty-four credited producers.  That figure alone tells you everything that's wrong with the movie business today.

Today, while I was sitting at Lincoln Center waiting for the No 11 bus to come down Columbus Avenue, DR Ginny's double walked past me.  It was scary.

We are having a doozy of a thunderstorm, with rain coming down in sheets.

Is that the storm DR Laura was "expecting"?

We had errands to do today which did not get done.  The tech guy will be returning between 4:00 & 6:00.  At least Keith got the wifi to work so we can use the computers.

You’re welcome, DR Elmore.  It will probably be in the paper tomorrow, but I remembered that my mom’s was on the funeral home website beforehand.

I don't have enough speed to open it right now.  I will read it later.
Again, my condolences to you both on the loss of your friend.

Had a really fun work session with Peyton and Hartley - little Peyton has really great instincts - had to do very little with here.  I now have to really rest my voice because I've been using it most of the afternoon.  Then Peyton and her mom and I went to Tony's Bella Vista - Doug joined us.  I had my carbonara.  And now I'm in for the evening doing nothing but listening to music.

I'm in Seattle at The Moore Theatre waiting to see Live and in Person Kathy Griffin!!  The place is filled and quite loud!  I took a few pictures of the theater and her pre-show projections.  I'll post some when I get home, or maybe just after the show.
