BK, if you use your library electronically, you might get that box set through an inter library loan.

Today we are going to see the tour of School of Rock. I tried to trade the tickets in for Les Mis earlier, but Les Mis was sold out.

We had a nice time at the Bar Mitzvah.  At a light lunch at the temple Keith was catching up with relatives he hasn't seen since they were all young.

We are going to go to Zingerman's Delicatessen to pick up a few things, if they have them, to take to Bryan.

I'm up, I'm up - again.  Went back to bed at seven-thirty, fell right asleep, so even though it doesn't feel like it, eight hours of sleep.

I'm so jealous, DR Jane!

A friend from my barbecue book days was autographing his own barbecue book today at a Barnes and Noble and he had his food truck outside, serving up some righteous brisket grilled cheese sandwiches.

Back from picking up a package and no mail, buying a new phone and second handset from Staples, as my seven year old phones were dying - even though I replaced all the batteries last year, wouldn't hold a charge for even thirty minutes.  I must say, I got the same brand, two handsets and base units and boy are these things inexpensive now.  So, I hooked them up, they're charging then I'll do some programming in of a few numbers.

Then I needed to have food that I knew would be good, so I stopped at Islands and had a burger and perhaps a few too many fries, but both were excellent.

I spent the day working around the apartment--laundry, cleaning, and more tossing and rearranging. In a small space you just can't afford to keep much. I'm trying to let go of more.

Yesterday, when I saw my acupuncturist, I mentioned that I hadn't slept well during the week. She told me that several people she knows take CBD (cannabis) just before bed and it really helps them sleep. She's ordering some for her patients. I'm not sure I want to do that, but I did ask about the CBD oil to use topically for pain. When a friend told me that her 101-year-old mother is using CBD oil I had to admit I should try it. My acupuncturist is also a naturopath, so we're both looking for natural, nontoxic products.

I've been reading the Amory Ames novels by Ashley Weaver. They're set in 1930s England and are quite good. Some reviewers have called them Christie-esque, but I think the style is more like that of Georgette Heyer. Murder mysteries, but very light on blood and gore.

We got bread and olive oil for Bryan and ginger jump up cookies for me.  We wanted sandwiches except after the Bar Mitzvah they served lox and cream cheese on bagels.

The breads are parmesan pepper and a chocolate cherry which I hope to finally taste.  Originally they were out of the chocolate cherry bread and the delivery wasn't expected for several hours.  As we were leaving a man walked up pushing a big cart loaded with food.  Of course I held the door open for him which is why Keith noticed the cart was filled with bread 😊

I'm so jealous, DR Jane!

I figured you would be.  It was hard not to order rye bread.  If only we we could go back before our flight home.

Zingerman's still has great service.

DR Jeanne if you try the oil I would like to know if it worked and how you felt using it.
