Re the Amory Ames books, I always prefer to start at the beginning of a series, in part because I like to see how the author introduces the characters and sets everything up. The first is MURDER AT THE BRIGHTWELL. You wouldn't have to start there, of course, but there is a subplot with Amory and her husband that continues throughout the series. I'm enjoying the subplot, too.

Jane, my acupuncturist will be out of town for a couple weeks so I won't be able to try the CBD oil until she returns. I'll definitely provide a full report.

I wonder if dear reader Jeanne will ever have time to actually sup and get her copy of GEE.  Oh, yes, I wonder.

Picked up a package, had Taco Bell (not a good Taco Bell day), and then a chocolate peanut butter thing to get the Taco Bell taste out of my mouth.

Listening to lots o' music, and brought in a few more and found the rest of the SACD albums, which I can now bring in the house and put somewhere where they're easily accessible.

I am hoping she gets to come home Tuesday or so....for decision time....but mostly just so she can be here.

And now back to Braodway Hostess. There's a weird musical number staged by a Busby Berkeley wanna be in a champagne glass. Bubbles, balloons and babes everywhere.

OK, I've downloaded the audiobook. I have to finish two works, both shorter than this, first, but I should be there by Wednesday.

I'm slogging my way through a tired movie called In Search of Fellini. Proof that the Maestro cannot be imitated or interpreted carelessly.

Been busier than the proverbial one-armed paperhanger today, prepping things for the painter who MAY or MAY NOT be here tomorrow. But one must be prepared, mustn't one.

Good luck the painter shows after all of your hard work.

The only walk we had today was from Bryan's place to the restaurant.   While nice it was way too short for me.

DR Goerge for dinner we had impossible burgers, except for our DIL who had a meat burger.  It was served on a pretzel bun.

I enjoyed it.
