Well, you've read the notes, the notes were written for harmonica soloist, and now it is time for you to post until the solo cows come home.

And strongest most excellent vibes and xylophones to our very own Jrand on the loss of his mum.  It was obvious how important she was to him and how much he loved her.  Hoping he'll be back with us soon.

I'm up, I'm up - oh, yeah, haven't gone to bed yet.  Must take a hot shower.

Yesterday, Vixmom mentioned that Harlan Ellison had died.  If I remember correctly, he was good friends with former DR Charles Pogue.  Condolences to Charles Pogue, and Harlan Ellison's family and friends. :(

I've always preferred to shower in the morning.  My former housemate (who let me keep his cat Ebonie when he married a woman who was allergic to cats) showered in the evening, which was very convenient since there was only one bathroom in the three bedroom house that we lived in.

Ellison had been ill for quite some time - he was eighty-four - a nice, long life.

It is.  I think three of my four grandparents died in their mid-eighties.

TCM had a lot of musicals this past month good and bad and I recorded most of them. So I have a lot of films to catch up on.

This is the last day for the painter. After this, we're just waiting for a carpet to be delivered and installed, and that's easily another week or longer.

Progress.  Has your carpet dried out?

We didn't have a wet carpet. It just happened that we'd been wanting to replace the one in the affected bedroom, so we took the opportunity to let them rip it out and get rid of it.

Something good out of all of this ;)

The stories of all five are so sad.

Nice to see Josh’s name and orchestrations singled out in one of the reviews of On a Clear Day.
