Today's Hint For Roofers:

Do not hang your jacket over the water heater flue, as the blaring smoke alarm and smoky house tends to frighten the homeowner.

I do not kowtow to grandstanding emotional blackmail and ultimatiums.

I will most certainly not apologize for nor remove posts that at least four people on this site know to be a true, accurate, and dispassionate assessment of the origins of this disturbance.

And I will NOT apologize for nor remove posts that also defend me against savagely blatant lies...which any rational examination of Wednesday's posts will prove.

Your characterization of Bruce's sympathy is certainly not mine, given the conversations I've had with him. He was in no way upset with me at dinner last night.

In fact, if the posts are removed, I will leave the site.

Despite your appeal for people not to take sides, that is precisely what you're appealing for.  Who do you like better?  Him or me?  You better choose or I'm going to throw a hissy fit!  Pout! Pout! Lower lip on the floor!

We were all having a pretty nice time here today before this overwrought drama reared its head again.  Just as we were the other day before someone dragged on their private angst.

All this hoo-ha is simply about a woman spurned when her inappropriate sense of entitlement was denied. Nothing more.  And that's still what it's about!

For the record, Neither Panni and I are the engine of this site.  It survived and flourished quite well without either of us before.  It will continue to do so,  zip along right finely, if either or both of us depart.

I have had a busy day and am now working at home (can't you tell?), so I can do laundry and clean the home environment before my previously unexpected weekend guests arrive in the morning..... It will be fun, but will be a mad rush to get the place in order before they arrive.  Yikes!

Yep, 'The Dummy" is one of the most frightening of all TZ episodes, and that last lingering image of dummy and man can still give me nightmares.

However, I loved Farfel. Also, Paul Winchell had one of the funniest guest spots ever on THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW with a new puppet just for the episode. It's still hilarious.

Hello WFO.

Another DR has suggested that Guy record "Yesterday When I Was Young".  I think there is an Aznavour line in there which is quite relevant this week. (but not to Guy).

A friend called to ask to borrow a DVD for his family to view tonight. He didn't want an animated movie. I went though some of the collection and came up with things like the STUART LITTLE films, MOUSE HUNT, 101 and 102 Dalmatians (Glenn Close live action versions), some MUPPET SHOW episodes and their first three movies which I still think are the best, THE ROCKETEER, SPY KIDS 3-D, THE ABSENT MINDED PROFESSOR, BABE 1 and 2, and then my eyes fell on SONG OF THE SOUTH .

Yes, I know it has animation, but I wonder if kids today would find it too slow between B'rer Rabbit stories. Anyway, the choice will be his.

OzDerek, I'm in New York, Manhattan, the Center of the World, in some folks opinions. I know there will be others to counter that viewpoint ;-)

Are you, OzDerek, near our beloved TomovOz?
