Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.

Thanks to DR FJL for posting that Melissa Manchester clip....that song was a real phenomenon! Everyone loved it! I used it one year at the Dance Convention....one half hour to teach a routine to over a hundred kids....

It was great....and I had more requests for that choreography than for any other dance I ever taught - close second Olivia Newton-John's "Physical."

I am about 2/3rds done with moving my clothes from my OLD closet to the new closet.....so I am taking two bags of shirts and trousers to Goodwill this morning....where I may look around just to see if I need anything.

Hopefully in the next few weeks, I won't buy back something I take in.

I must have had a few bullies in earlier school years or maybe even in later ones, but I probably managed to avoid and ignore them. For the most part, I think they would eventually get bored and seek better targets. As far as physical bullying is concerned, I might be forgetting something but I think I can say I never suffered any such thing. And I've never been in a physical fight in my life.

I love thinking back at a time when everyone was willing to imagine/pretend that "Let's get physical" was about physical fitness and working out, because of that clever MTV video. (Just like the YMCA in its time, you can hang out with all the boys was about getting in shape in the weight room, wasn't it?
