Well, you've read the notes, the notes had two words never used before - Haji Baba - and now it is time for you to post until the Haji Baba cows come home.

I have never heard of HALI BABA.  Is it the same story as Ali Baba?  Who is in this movie, and why is it so terrible?

Is the big announcement going to be about the end of the Kritzerland shows?

Haji Baba starred John Derek, I think.  It came out in 1954, but it must have been on the bottom half of a double bill there as a reissue because I wouldn't have seen it that early - more likely 1956.

The big Kritzerland announcement is two-fold - you know half of it, which is we're going to 100 shows and will finish our monthly shows when that occurs.  However, my thought is that we'll come back for a series of "specials" maybe three or four times a year.

I've been watching TV.  Today, I'm going to the movies again with my friend Margo, then I have to do some more props shopping (maybe a little before the movie).  In the evening, a couple of friends who live in my condo complex are throwing a sushi party.  I don't do sushi, but they said it's okay to bring any kind of food that's rolled up, so I'll bring the leftover taco stuff and make burritos.  They're rolled up!  It should be fun. :D

DR Elmore, we’ve had a similar concern with Poe off and on since he was a kitten. He’s nearly 16 now and we still have to guard against leaving certain types of things lying around. Our vet explained way back then that he’d seen “pica cats” (which was my introduction to that meaning of the word), and that Poe seemed to be one.

Do your best to rid yourself of the flaking paint. That’s easy to say; doing so might be difficult or impossible. But also just mention it to his vet next time you’re talking to them. Not sure there’s anything much you can do about it. In our case, it’s certain kinds of plastic that are attractive to Poe, and he (thank God) threw up a bunch of it once which scared the bejesus out of me.

I had an idea.  I sprayed vinegar all over the object with the peeling paint, especially the sections where he's chewing. I think he might be a pica cat; the first six months of his life were nothing but stress .

Came home last night and was surprised with a package of two Maui Gold pineapples. A nice gift from Carol to remember the trip by.

It won’t be decided till this evening, but I’m wondering if we’ll have our op’nin’ tonight or be rained out.

This happened to them last summer with that musical about a forest. One rained out show after another.
