Wednesday afternoon greetings.  Richard and I attended yet another funeral this morning, this time for Gordon, the very special friend of our recently-departed friend Loyce.  The service was at our former Methodist church and included a lot of hymn singing.

Thanks, DR Jane.  I really didn’t get to know him until he started spending time with Loyce, but cherish those few years.

One of my First Methodist friends sat with us and said there were more people there today than attend church on Sunday.  I told Maryrose we need to meet for a more festive occasion and she said, “Next time Larry’s here!”
