TCB, your story even made the local news website here.

And this morning's Huffington Post!

Closing performance tonight, with a full day and night of rain in the forecast. It looks like they’re going to do what they ended up doing last year with the closing night of Into the Woods — move everyone into the old house on this property and give a very simply staged concert version of the show. The logistics are a little hard to explain when typing on the iPad. I’ll try to capture some photographic evidence.

Dry closing night vibes for DR CHAS SMITH....perhaps next year, they should check the almanac.

When the skies lightened up, I knew the worst part of the storm was over for the nonce, and I took a bus to Lincoln Center to shop at the farmer's market.  I got some wonderful apple cider donuts and some produce.  Onmy way home i stopped at the corner bodega and picked up some deli turkey for the kitties and a few groceries.

TRIVIA SPOILER QUESTION

With all the talk of "Annie" here on HHW lately, I keep thinking the actor who went on to be a director of a "huge hit musical" should be Martin Charnin, but I can't make the parts fit.  I've got to put this aside for a while, but any thoughts?

I just read the new story regarding DR TCB's excitement last night.  We would have been watching our movie last night and not heard the jets.  I would like to have seen if they went any faster than usual during take off.

Mr. Wonderful is a great guess.  Incorrect.

Martin Charnin is a great guess - and it's correct.

I like the trivia contest better when it's interactive.  Still not making the parts fit, though.

These were so much easier ten years ago.

Have you ever thought about putting all of them in a dirt-cheap-to-create Createspace book, just so they'll be there for posterity.  You had more than a book worth of them, didn't you?

TOD:
Mark and I both love shellfish, but I've never been a huge fan of fish with scales. Mark used to really like it, but he developed an allergy to it a couple years ago, which is unfortunate because it's so healthy.
Anyway, we could both eat mountains of snowcrab legs, in the shell. All-you-can-eat buffets are our favorite, since the stuff is so expensive.

Somehow I knew that Seattle would get all the credit blame.
