I have been listening to Barbra Streisand’s DUETS album.  I think the best duet on the CD is the one she does with herself.

I agree with you, TCB!

I thought I was going in to City Center to help Joshie but he's not ready yet, so I have a day at home.  I will work on Act Two of How To Succeed . . .

Annabelle's waiting to go on patrol and Thatch has been playing the Great Tabby Pigeon Hunter, stalking the birds on the fire escape.

The piece of crap chest of drawers I purchased from Amazon several years is falling apart, and I have a mess on my hands to clean up after I finish cleaning the litter and patrolling the building.

I feel your rain, Druxy. My church is in my neighborhood and it was hard getting there this morning. Plenty of flood watches in effect here.

The lovely Miss Mary Jane (Allison) Hayes represented Washington D.C. in the 1949 Miss America Pageant.  She was disqualified when one of the judges saw her hug a (male) cousin who had come to visit her in the lobby of the Atlantic City hotel where the contestants were staying.

She was not told she was disqualified and neither were the judges....two of whom, Walter Winchell and Earl Wilson, had her in the top three...

I decided to do some laundry and clear up the dust from yesterday's bookshelf work.  I will soon have seven cartons for our DR ChasSmith to deliver.

Sunday morning greetings!  Rain here, too.  It started Friday evening and is supposed to continue until tomorrow morning.

Is there a full moon?

For us, it’s the remnants of Hurricane Tropical Storm Gordon.
