Well, you've read the notes, the notes prayed for Rosemary's baby, and now it is time for you to post until Rosemary's cows come home.

I enjoyed the book, ROSEMARY’S BABY, but I didn’t care for the movie.

I have been listening to Barbra Streisand’s DUETS album.  I think the best duet on the CD is the one she does with herself.

I enjoyed the book, ROSEMARY’S BABY, but I didn’t care for the movie.

I've never read the book.  I went to see if my library had a Kindle version through OverDrive, but it's only available in epub, not Kindle. :P

That’s weird.  Amazon has it on Kindle.

Is anyone going to watch MISS AMERICA tonight?  They've instituted new rules and have eliminated the swimsuit competition.  I wonder if that'll allow for more talent performances again.

That would be too logical, George.

Sadly, that's probably true.

Wel, I guess I should try to sleep.  I am still wired up from the reunion and from not taking my pain meds timely.

Well, I'm off to bed, too.  I have a union meeting at 1:30.  It's supposed to last not more than a couple of hours, and then I'm going to my sister's to put together a little house for my cat that my sister bought me.  It'll go in my backyard so that my cat can have some shade when she's out there.

Have a good day, all!

The lovely Miss Mary Jane (Allison) Hayes represented Washington D.C. in the 1949 Miss America Pageant.  She was disqualified when one of the judges saw her hug a (male) cousin who had come to visit her in the lobby of the Atlantic City hotel where the contestants were staying.

She was not told she was disqualified and neither were the judges....two of whom, Walter Winchell and Earl Wilson, had her in the top three...

I could stand a reread and rewatch of ROSEMARY’S BABY. I only ever read the book once when the movie came out.

Tonight, auditions for FROG AND TOAD. At least three of the area theaters have auditions this afternoon and evening, so the turnouts should be interesting.

I fed the cats at 6:30, and thought I would sleep another hour.  Two and a half hours later I woke up.

I had several really bizarre dreams, but the only ones I remember are orchestrating "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" for an enormous orchestra, and a rehearsal of Brigadoon in which I was asked to call Deborah Kerr to come to the rehearsal and no one had a contact sheet.
