Chas I guessed it was your own photo but not that it was a slide.  No wonder it still looks good.

For several years in the mid-late 1970s I was taking slides instead of prints. I shot just as many duds either way, but when you have a good clear one on a transparency, it just ... lives on!

My middle-of-the-road Canon scanner does a nice job, but it does NOT capture all of the resolution or the brilliance of the colors.

Right. In case it's of interest, here's the page it comes from:  http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/33

I've uploaded several to that site, and really should get to uploading other theater or marquee shots I've got. I need to devote a few days to scanning it all.

I guess I'm up - tummy upset most of the night, so only a few hours of sleep.  Waiting for the musical director to call me so I can correct some rhythm things on the latest chart and track he sent me, and when that's corrected then that cast member can get her song.

Some woman came into the Dome thread with this list and said that How the West Was Won, which she saw there in the 1960s, was missed on the list.  I called her a troll because the other options are too horrifying to contemplate.  People will not admit they were wrong.  Period.  I address that film specifically so either she didn't actually read the post or she's a moron.

There are rumors Marin Mazzie has died. I can’t find any confirmation.

I was just going to post this.  I saw a TV interview with her discussing her battle with cancer last year, and I really admire her. I checked all the Broadway sites, but there's nothing about this.

A couple of people have posted on her and Jason't page as if she had, but I, too, can find nothing official.  She was a wonderful gal - I only worked with her and Jason once, on the Stephen Schwartz Album, but both were just great and the nicest people.

She was always wonderful.  I first saw her in an Equity Library production of Where's Charley? in the early-mid 1980s, and I last saw her as the Narrator in the Encores! production of Zorba.  I went into a preview of Kiss Me, Kate thinking she was all wrong and she turned out to be one of the best things about the mediocre production.  I wish I'd seen her replace Kelli O'Hara in The King and I.

George where will you keep your new clock?

I haven't decided, yet.  I'll figure out a place once I clean up my living room...again. ::)

Annabelle threw up in my bed last night.  I hope it's a case of overeating ad that she's not getting sick.  It wasn't grisly, thank God, just an inconvenience at 4:30AM.

Neve has (fortunately) only thrown up in my bed twice.  It the best situation because I can clean my blankets much more easily than my carpet.
