Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of crossing the finish line, and now it is time for you to post until the crossing cows come home.

Well, I need to go now.  I'm not going to bed just yet.  I have an iTunes update and need to restart my computer, then I need to balance my checkbook.  It's only been a couple of weeks or so (not the couple of months that it had been before), but it needs to be done, so I'm going to do it.

Have a good day, all!

Thank you, BK!

I, too, love the film of FLOWER DRUM SONG, which I first saw at Middletown's late Paramount Theatre on opening night.  It's one of the few films I can remember seeing with my mother.

And I love love love "Chop Suey!"  What a wonderful inclusive song.

I just replied.

The shitty neighbor across from me who complained about my leaving "smelly" garbage, which it wasn't, in the hall when the elevator was out and I couldn't carry things own the stairs, has now complained to the management about the seven cartons of books neatly stacked nextr to my door.  I had already told the super and the neighbors I speak to on the third floor what was going on, but I have never once complained to the management about this jackass who leaves his bike outside the foor, leaves piles of lumber, ikd furniture, and other crap outside for weeks.  I'll be glad when you're dead, you rascal, you!

Coffee!!

I am eating a breakfast sandwich and getting my strength up (just fighting off an allergy attack) so I can get down to DR Elmore’s and get those cartons out of the hallway.

What a horrible neighbor that person is. What makes people like that?

I have no wonderful theaters to recall for this one, but I was totally enchanted by FLOWER DRUM SONG and its setting and music when my family and I first saw it. Then not seeing it for some years after that, my main memory was of Juanita Hall. But when I returned to it I loved everyone. And yes, “Chop Suey” always managed to be especially memorable.

Tomorrow's fine, DR ChasSmith.  Please don't worry about it.  As to my neighbor, he's been difficult for some time.  When I was first afflicted in 2013, he was the only neighbor who never offered any assistance.  Since then he's told Val and others that I'm a fraud and can walk with no problems, and you cannot fight imbecility.

Okay, I shall greatly look forward to seeing you and Her Highness and that little scamp tomorrow.

I had a bad fall last night.  When Annabelle decides to be underfoot, she means it.  I had to step over her when she decided to sit under my feet while I washed dishes.  I stepped over her, she decided to move, I lost my balance, fell over the humidifier and landed hard on my hip.  I still held on to the glass of water for my nightly meds, but it could have broken in the fall, and I could have broken a hip, but there was much pain, much yelling at Annabelle who ran for the nearest hiding place, and no blood.

When I calmed down and got off the floor, I had t find her to pet her and ascertain she was uninjured.

Oh man. That’s scary. And I know wherefore I speak, as our Mikey is the King of Underfoot. The greatest threat is when we’re in the kitchen at anything close to feeding time. I recently declared that one mustn’t take a single step backward or to the side without looking down and checking. Okay, sometimes walking forward, too. Like, at the top of the stairs...

Happy Birthday and narrow escape vibes for DR ELMORE.....whew!  Yes our kitty Tiffany was an underfooter.......  She was mostly fearless and was good at keeping intruders at bay.

She went to live on a farm when we decided two dogs was enough....the first week she was there, she decided she could take on a couple of roosters....and lost the fight...
