I'm up, I'm up - sort of.  About six hours of sleep thanks to allergies.  Took a pill, was up for an hour at six-thirty, then finally fell back asleep.

We have had lots of nice rain over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday we had another Pacific hurricane blow through. This morning, my windows are open. First time since about last March.

Today is my daughter-in-law's due date. Maybe I am just on pins and needles.

I had to escape the office. I’m sitting on the River Walk in an Irish pub awaiting a plate of fish and no chips (coleslaw) with my fake beer (water).  The sound of the water is welcome.

It sounds lovely.  I am sorry you have to return to the office after lunch.

There are stretches that helped.  Do you know any?

Exciting though I wouldn't hold my breath as first babies are notoriously late.

No, DR Laura, it's in the front of my ankle, and the pain when standing or moving is unbearable.

DR Jeanne, or any DR, do you know something that will soothe my incision?  Now that t-shirt season is over clothing is irritating one edge of my incision.  I am staying home this morning to let is have a rest from anything touching it.

I am wondering if perhaps I might have tendonitis in my left ankle.  The pain is horrendous.

DR GEORGE and DR TCB - your audition stories remind me of Danny Thomas' story about the man and the car jack.....

http://williamhorberg.typepad.com/william_horberg/2010/05/the-jack-story.html

That's funny!  But I won't obsess about it.  Whether they ask me or not, it is what it is.  It's out of my hands now.

Back from a patty melt and a cup of chicken soup.  I am really not feeling good, whether that's allergies or because the rehearsal room last Thursday was sixty degrees.  I put my foot down about the air being that cold.

When we lived in Massachusetts just about everyone I knew left the heat turned down to 60-62 degrees during the winter.  It save on the cost of heat.  I would get annoyed that after being cold all day, not that it bothered the kids, Keith would come home and turn the heat up.

Congrats to DR George on the call-back!

Will you be singing the same song or a different one?

Jane, for things skin-related I use calendula gel. I find it rather soothing. The one I've been using is by Boiron. A small tube lasts me a very long time. I don't need it often, but I like having it on hand.
