Just a plain unmarked black kitten. Who now jumps into my lap.

I keep my onions in the fridge in a compartment by themselves in green bags. They last a long time this way.

And good thing too, I just noticed a tear in the seam, it would have been thrown out as we do not give torn clothing to the homeless

Does the Goodwill still repair and mend? I doubt it, but I see many things that are reparable.

Re: PHANTOM THREAD

I watched it about a month ago. I enjoyed parts of it, but I came away underwhelmed.

With a beautiful face and sweet disposition.  A calico would look striking next to Leonard ;)

Our left over onions rarely last long enough to go bad.

DR Laura, I know you wanted a calico.  I hate the Manhattan Animal Control Centers.  In the past two weeks there were four calicos on their euthanasia lists.

Dang why didn't the picture come along for the ride?

Because it was uploaded to HHW's photos and not hot-linked from an external website. :-\

Went to a charity brunch this morning for a young restaurant manager who was in a hit-and-run accident recently. Turns out she had been run over twice and left for dead or for someone to find her. She still faces a number of surgeries but they brought her out to be able to enjoy a little of the party in her honor.

To add to her woes, the hospital she was in decided it no longer wanted to take her insurance, so they kicked her out.

Oh, my goodness!  The accident was bad enough, but for the hospital to do that is terible!! :(
