A few years ago, The Nance by Douglas Carter Beane was on Broadway.  It was also filmed for broadcast on PBS.  As part of that broadcast, they had Douglas Carter Beane, Jack O'Brien the director, and Nathan Lane the star sitting together and talking for a few minutes about the show.  But on PBS's website, they had the full 48-minute interview.  I was able to download that and just watched it again.  It was quite informative and interesting.  I wonder why they didn't make that whole interview its own show on TV.  At least, they made it available. :)

Well, I'm off to bed now.  I don't have any real plans today.  Hoo and Ray!  I probably will do some laundry and ketchup on watching some TV shows recorded on my DVR.

Have a good day, all!

The cats actually let me sleep past 7:15!  We're all preparing for the time change.

That drives me mad as well......  Or when the vocal director spends AN HOUR on a song....and then the next time it's done - someone says....."what note do I sing here....."

So far, I’m having a rather energy-less Sunday morning.

That will have to change because there be things to get done today. For now, I remain a willing prisoner of the recliner.

I never saw it either, so I would have guessed that WHO KILLED TEDDY BEAR was just another of those “Question” or “Statement” thrillers of the 60s/70s.

(WHO SLEW, WHAT’S THE MATTER, LET’S SCARE... etc.)

Last night, we watched the 1939 film On Borrowed Time.  I liked everyone in the cast except for Lionel Barrymore.  I thought he was working far too hard as Gramps.  I kept thinking how wonderful my late friend Bernard Hughes would be in the role.

You beat me to it, DR Jrand68!   About an hour ago sister Catherine (aka Kate) excitedly  came out of her bedroom and changed the channel on the TV in the living room to see if I thought that was Bruce on the Partridge Family.  After I confirmed that it was indeed our own BK she exclaimed “what a cutie!”
