I will be glad when this election is over, so we can go back to nothing but mattress and hot tub ads on TV.

  • A person should celebrate what passes by.

Three kids....two six year old twin brothers and their nine year old sister were killed in a small town in Indiana this morning....they were crossing the road to get on the school bus - which was stopped with its sign swung out and its red lights flashing - when a pick up truck coming the other way ran over them....all three kids from the same family.  A fourth child was also hit and is in serious condition in the hospital.

The 24 year old driver of the truck said she was "distracted", but no other information has been released.

Oh, no. :'(

I'm thinking of joining AMC Stubs A-List (you can see up to three movies a week for $19.95 a month).  Anyone belong?

No, but it sounds like a great deal.

We play the license plate game while we are driving. Our plates have three letters followed by four numbers. So we make a phrase out of the letters and ignore the numbers.

For instance BMS1234 = Bring More Soup

Sadly, our state uses the letter X a lot. Not much you can do with X.

Xavier, xerox those xylophones!

Lovely photo of Mikey and Poe....  Birdy Barnum approves.  He was unhappy with me because I got him up before it was light this morning....I wanted to go to Dollar Tree to get my grapefruit juice and pointer.....

And then I went to lunch with friends and the TV lost its signal, so he didn't get to watch The Price Is Right.....it is three hours later and he is just now speaking to me.....

When you wake Birdy do you:
Give him a gentle nudge?
Push him out of bed?
Sing wakey-wakey?
Make his alarm go off?
Romove his cage cover?

PT went well.  I purchased an ice pack from them.  I hope it is as soft from my freezer as the packs are from their freezer.  I wish I had this from the beginning.

Photos?

  • Dance, if it makes you happy.

Do people eat Nanaimo Bars anywhere in the country besides the Northwest?

Yes. And you can send me some. Please.

As long as the right candidates win. I don’t miss watching TV at all.

I had to run an errand in downtown Santa Monica today. Afterwards, I went to a vegan restaurant I like but that BK would not.

One of the customers was dressed all in black--black bra, black corset, black pants, and black heels. Did she have her dates mixed up? Think today was the 31st?

I did not wish to stare--but I did wonder.

John G, how do you wake JB? Or do you let him sleep in, even if it means missing The Price is Right?

I have no idea what is wrong with my internal alarm system.

I have the same problem way too often.

I did much better with my lines last night at rehearsal than I thought I would do.

Good.

How's the ice pack DR JANE?

I haven't used it yet but so far it still looks and feels soft in the freezer and it seems as cold as it will get.

It is 5:30 and there are no ghosts or goblins or Ironmen or Cinderellas walking up and down the sidewalk - so I guess tomorrow night is trick or treating in my neighborhood.

Many years ago we had a shar-pei named Autumn Memory....she loved Halloween and would wear a Hockey Mask when we opened the door....she was quite a hit with the populace....and now and then during the year she would dig it out of her toy box to wear just for fun.....

;D :)

I did not know how bad this tragedy was.  I had read that the older brother pushed the younger one out of the way.

Tuesday evening greetings from Florence, Alabama.  We drove to mile 336 on the Natchez Trace Parkway today - only 108 to go!

Had a good music rehearsal for the revue - I actually ended up assigning all the solos that needed assigning in the group numbers, so that's out of the way now and I think it works well.  I came up with one really funny idea just hearing someone do a number.  These people are top pros, always prepared, never late, knowing their material.  What a breath of fresh air that is after all this crap with people who think they can just run herd over everyone because they think they're doing US a favor when the reality is we're doing THEM a favor - but they don't and will never see it that way.  It's a shame, but it also solidifies who I will work with and not work with again.

Then I picked up packages (they forgot to give me one that arrived late yesterday, so I'll stop there on my way to the theater), banked, and went and had a turkey sandwich with no fries or onion rings or side salad or soup.

Then I came home and caught up on e-mails whilst listening to some pretty music.  We do like the pretty music, you know.
