Well, you've read the notes, you've read the notes and then some, and you're about to change the clocks and then some, and now it is time for you to post until the changing of the clocks cows come home.

The crowd is larger than I thought it was (but not full), and they're really loving it!

When I get home, I'll feed my cat, engage in my evening ablutions, then go to sleep.

I sort of barely but not quite got my extra hour of sleep this morning. It’s really hard to explain these time changes to those of the feline persuasion. In the end, I did succeed in prolonging the first cup of coffee in the recliner and feeding them later. And at least intellectually, I do appreciate the extra hour.

Last night I spent a goodly amount of time watching THE FRESHMAN and some supplementary material on Harold Lloyd. From knowing basically nothing about the man up until yesterday, I now find him a very fascinating subject and there will be much more such watching accomplished over the next two weeks.

So why am I suddenly watching Harold Lloyd? Because two weeks from today I’m playing in my first ever silent movie orchestra, for THE FRESHMAN. The score is a recently composed one, and I’ll say more about this — and the whole process which is new and fascinating to me — when I’m not pecking on the iPad.

Great Harold Lloyd fan. Would love to see The Freshman on the silver screen.

I have been struggling with some sciatica for a few weeks. By mid-morning the pain pills kick in and I'm ok, but I sure waste several hours before that sitting on an ice pack.

Luckily, Wae-Ling was here yesterday to help show people around. It was kind of an open house kind of thing. People dropped in from 9 am to 4 pm.
