Having a Cubano Mexicano for lunch. It’s a Cuban with chorizo. Yummy stuff.

Congrats to MR BK & Co on the show.

Congrats to DR GEORGE & Co on a great run.  Rehearsal vibes for both.....

Ditto (again!), and thanks, Jrand, and thanks again!

And speaking of Marc Ginsburg, I love these songs and had to find the video, so I did.  Here he is performing "Gonna Build a Mountain" and "Nothing Can Stop Me Now" from Kritzerland at Sterling's 70 - Our 6-Year Anniversary Show - Newley/Bricusse Medley! :D

I decided to make some pasta with butter and cheese rather than go spend twenty-five dollars at Jerry's for a sandwich.

In a little while I'll mosey on over to the mail place and hope that the pension check has arrived.

Back from the mail place and - no pension check.  I'll give it until tomorrow and then I'm going to insist they cut a new check that I can pick up.  The USPS should be held accountable for all the damage they do to people, day in and day out.

Dad is back in the ER. Same condition. No word. The doctor ordered him back for more tests.

Listening to music and trying not to be too upset at the pension check thing, but it's just so irritating and so the fault of the USPS.

Jane Curtain reads a hilarious story from Gail Godwin called St. George.

No, it sure doesn’t, and I imagine it’s even harder when you’re far away...

Yes and no.  You aren't doing the day to day work, however, not having all the details is frustrating.  It is worse when your opinion is discounted by siblings.

AOL seems to be completely down, mail-wise.  I've had nothing all afternoon, but did have a ton of e-mails when I checked the phone but nothing for the last two hours.  I went directly to AOL and you can't even log in - can't find the server.  I may have to finish up sending everyone to gmail.  I stopped when we seemingly fixed the mail problems - only got through the Bs.
