The autumnal time change never bothers me. It's losing an hour in the spring that akes me life a mess for over a week. So, I was wide awake at 6:20, the old 7:20. The cats were happy.

In my way to City Center, I'll vote, so I will leave earlier than usual. I must be home by 2:00 since I'm hoping that the super and the plumber will be here after 3:00 to repair the hot water leak. I don't dislike the new super, but he's no Val.

There's really not a lot of films coming out this year (that I'm aware of) that I'm anxious to see. Even if there were. I'd wait until they were released onto DVD.

Seeing new movies doesn't seem to excite me like it used to. Don't know if it's the movies or me.

There is a film coming out the deals with Laurel and Hardy and a new Clint Eastwood movie which interest me, but beyond that....

The voting place was packed, and it took me, as a privileged crippled old coot, about 20 minutes to vote. Then I went to the bank for cash, visited with the manager for a minute and missed the bus, As I waited for the next, Joshie texted me from Queens. He estimated he would not be at City Center before 11 since the lines to vote were so long. I called him and told him I'd be in tomorrow and came home.

Jan, I tried to answer your question last night when the site went down. I’m not a fan of the traditional Thanksgiving meal. All that dead food bores me (and boring to me is worse than it being bad). It’s only the company I treasure.

So, save all those bland carbs for someone else. I’d prefer beef or seafood and a salad.
