Back from a somewhat dour run-through, part of which had to do with sound still trying to figure everything out. They're being hamstrung by having to be in the lighting booth, but with this theater they can't give up any seats. So, it's really not optimal for the sound folks so they're trying to get it as good as it can be. I did reblock a couple of things to keep performers in front of mics. I also quickly did a couple of adjustments to the opening number to make up for the loss of one body - it was actually easy. And then adjusted the other two scenes where that was a problem. Our replacement gal will be fine - she's experimenting now and we have to find the right energy once she locks in the way she's going to play it, but even with script in hand she knows more of it better than the actress with memory issues.
