I am hanging on.

I am glad to read that. Vibes for what you need, Elmore.

TOD:

I love adding coconut and dried cherries to the tops of things, from oatmeal to ice cream.
Crushed Oreos and crushed Reese’s Cups (or a mix of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips)
Cherries soaked in bourbon
A splash of Frangelico or creme de menthe, etc.

TOD:
Broken up chocolate covered pretzels are very good in ice cream.

Yes, please.

Odd thing is, I hate those places like Marble Slab that mix stuff into your ice cream. No thank you. The added stuff gets frozen and the flavors contract, so you can’t taste it any more.

Roy Clark died. I did watch Hee-Haw occasionally, estwhen Ethel Merman was a guest, but I also liked his hit, Yesterday When I Was Young.

My parents were big Roy Clark and Buck Owens fans, so HeeHaw was on at our house every week.

It's snowing quite heavily here.  I had to step out to the market and it's a mess outside.

I saw that. It’s usually my luck to buy the DVD a month before the Blu-Ray is announced.

I've turned the radiator down as far as possible since it's been hotter than hell in the apartment.  Annabelle has retreated to the bathroom where she sleeps by the heating pipe which keeps that room very cozy,  Tonight I dragged out her favorite plastic washtub, put an old sweatshirt in the bottom and set it next to the heating pipe.  I expect her to spend much of the winter there.  When the building heat goes off at 11pm and the apartment cools down, I expect she'll crawl into bed with Thatch and me.

Cold Stone Creamery is like that.  It's fairly new to this area.  I've only gone there once, and kind of liked the idea, but it was a little more pricey and out of the way for me to go on a regular basis.

I remember watching it when I was a kid.  I think I liked it.  I don't know what I'd think about it today, though. ::)

I am home from an NYPL Theater Collection trip with Joshie.  It was not as successful as we had hoped.

Sorry.

I am not a fan of those.  Keith likes them.

I don't like their ice cream before fixings are added.

Haircut done.  Shortly I shall be on my way to the mail place, then to eat, then to the theater.

Found a documentary at the library that I've been wanting to see for a while: Three Identical Strangers. I don't have the time to watch it tonight. Nothing but an hour-long episode of Berlin.

Dancing went OK tonight. If I can remember these routines in two weeks when the competition is, I'll be doing OK.

The weather warmed up to the mid-60s today and back down into the 30s tonight. I don't really know one hour to the next, though, what it will be. Or the force of the wind.

Mom and Dad lost power today, as did 80,000 others in Louisville. My sister drove in to take them to a motel, because, otherwise, Mom would just sit in the cold. And complain. She's going to stay overnight with them and hopefully the power will be on by morning.

I also picked up a cheap copy of Nevil Shute's A Town Like Alice, which I've wanted to read for some time. I never saw the mini-series but heard it was good.
