Sunday evening greetings! Fr. Richard subbed at a church in Dayton this weekend that has services at 5pm on Saturday and 10:30am on Sunday. I stayed home yesterday and made vegetable beef soup to have ready when he got home. This morning I got up at 6:45 and went with him. He was pretty exhausted by the end of the service, so we picked up sandwiches and came home for lunch and recliner naps.

I had a wonderful time at A Child's Christmas In Wales, which plats really well, and the musical arrangements are glorious, The cast of six, one also a violinist, is very good. The show is around 75 minutes long, and I think it would make a wonderful recording.

Ushered for the Nutcracker again tonight. It was the last of the performances. I was stationed next to the stage, which was great because I was right next to the orchestra pit. The music from so close was thrilling. And the dancing was just fine. Funny but the ballet audience is quieter during the symphony than the symphony audience is.

Just got back from Kritzerland. Great performers doing great on the songs. Really fun except for this old guy who kept getting up on the stage to talk about everything. Think his name was Bruce or Bob or something.
