I also resolved to get out the device I bought last year, install the software, and once and for all learn how to transfer these things first to a hard drive, and then to a DVD that’s playable in full HD and multichannel sound. The couple of things a friend has transferred for me look and sound great. I have everything needed, I’ve just put off making the effort.

I have a program on my Windows XP computer to record the hi-def programs that I have on my older DVRs, and another program on my Windows 10 computer to make actual Blu-ray discs.

Back from a terrific show. We put in a new speech tonight and I must say it worked very well and solved a huge problem. Not sure it's absolutely perfect yet, but the reaction to it certainly told us it's close.

It was about half a house - we really should be selling out from now on but they simply don't know how to promote. Tomorrow there are more people and Sunday will probably be close to full, so that's good. But they were a great audience - laughing, cheering, and even a few people stood at the end.
