DR Kevin are you home? If so what are the weather conditions there? We sent DS Craig a gift that was shipped through Fed-x. It was supposed to arrive yesterday. Then today it said it was out for delivery. Now it says:

"Local delivery restriction - Delivery not attempted
Recommended action: No action required. Delivery will be re-scheduled when conditions improve."

I am guessing it has to do with a problem at his apartment complex vs the weather-just checking to be sure.

TOD -

1. Spending time with HHW friends who shlepped to Redmond for the day to see our show. Thanks to George and TCB, and Jane and Keith (who also found the hotel) for shlepping so far and even going out of your way that Friday morning to the airport. The folks at the theater were so nice, and the HHW group made it so special.

1a. That my cousin's family were able to go to the shows as they happened to be in Seattle then.

2. July and November trips in Florida. My mother's 90th birthday in July. Getting to actually spend real time in the "Casita" senior center I'd heard about, but used to wait outside for my mom, but on the November trip for their 66th anniversary, it was less crowded than other times, so the management there was OK with my sitting in there, so I saw firsthand why my mom enjoys it every day. (She's always loved Bingo and dominoes and cards, and has so many friends there.)

Dad doesn't play cards that much any more, but he enjoys that Mom has recovered so well from breaking her pelvis a few years ago.

3. My cousin's wedding in Scranton. His first wife passed away so young at 30, but her family kept him as part of their family, and they all came to his remarriage.
3a. Also, a month later, the 1st birthday of another cousin's daughter.

Picked up packages, made two chicken breasts sautéed with mushrooms and onions, which I served over bow tie pasta, about four ounces all told - very good.

Otherwise, relaxing and listening to Previn make musical magic. Now playing: a CD I almost skipped, but I decided to listen to each of the 55 CDs, even the music I don't think will interest me. So, this one is a Mozart puff pastry opera called The Impresario - BUT - it's been adapted by Dory Previn and her text is actually laugh out loud funny, the music works delightfully for the adaptation (Dory Previn also wrote the words for the music), and the cast is brilliant, including Leo McKern and Reri Grist, who I've always loved. A complete delight. Who knew?
