In the comedy department, I went to create the document for the new book. When I do that, I just go to the previous book, in this case GEE and I do a save as. I typed the name of the new book in and tried to save but it said there was already a document with that name. Say what? How could that be when I just decided that this would be the book I was going to write? So I found the document and I guess I'd first contemplated writing this very book two years ago, but instead wrote Thrill Ride. So, I thought that was a pretty good omen. I'd already written two paragraphs. I didn't care for them but the idea was just right so I did a quick rewrite of those two paragraphs. Isn't that funny? It's like what happened with GEE. I opened an older book idea document and there was the very rough idea of what would become the central plot point in GEE. It's wacky and weird.
So, I just created the document for the non-fiction book instead.
