Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like fruitcake, nutty and dried, and now it is time for you to post until the nutty and dried cows come home.

I don't believe I ever tried it.  We used to live half an hour from there.  There were always loads of samples when we shopped.  Mostly we went when company wanted to go shopping and see the store.

I think the price of fruitcake has gone up because the fancy fruit has become pricey.

DR TCB, not sure what to say about the lack of response to your note.  Not everyone responds to emails.  If you are sincere about tonight I say send it even if they don't write back.  Wish them a happy solstice and then not worry if it is you.

I must step out this morning in the rain to get deli turkey for the cats and a few groceries.  When I return, I'm going back to bed,.

Feel better.   I wish you could still get soup at Artie's.  Do you have to go far to get groceries?

The Austin paper today gave MARY POPPINS RETURNS a "D-" review.

I'd heard it was quite good.

Anybody see it yet?

Bruce did.

The only happy ones are the new manager and her bestie who she hired to replace me

I thought you were the manager.

On the one hand, today is my first complete day of rest in the past two weeks.

On the other hand, I have more to get done today than I can even think about.

Home from market.  The buses took forever.  Thanks to the MTA, buses no longer run every ten minutes.

I am going back to bed.

I guess this kind of answers my question.

Neither of whom have any experience with the job

Oh, my goodness!  Who owns this company?  Why would they let that happen??

This is 2 year-old Cali, railroaded by the ACC! He was brought into the Manhattan ACC only three days ago - only three damned days ago! - and the "staff" have marked him for death two days later: one lousy photo, no video, and because he's terrified, they've charged him with their usual excuse to murder a healthy dog: behavioral concerns.

The poor dog is terrified; he's lost his home, security, and possibly his life today. They must really want him dead.

This evening Richard and I are going to see “Amahl and the Night Visitors” at Xavier University.  It’s the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, plus soloists, dancers, and the Mad Cap Puppets (as the Wise Men).

I am sure JB misses DR JOHN G....and wonders where he is....

Birdy Barnum has been climbing all over his cocoanut hideaway and peeking inside, but he has yet to go into it......now he is sitting on top of it and trying to figure things out.....

Costco has had them in the past.  I haven't had one in quite a few years, but I do remember that they were very good. :)
